I'm currently pricing the ferry as I'm helping someone move over to Britain soon. It'll be over and back in the one day. If I price it as a day trip with 3 people, it's half the price than pricing 3 outgoing and 2 people returning. If I was to book it as first option, would there be any issues at the terminal with one less person in the car on the return leg?

can the extra person not just go as a foot passenger one way and you book for 2 return?
Either that or book 2 return and ring and add the extra passenger one way on the outbound if thats possible.

either way, ring them and they should have a suggestion.
The ferry hotlines are some of the most friendly and helpful people you'll encounter, even if you end up chatting to someone in england or scandanavia
