No it doesn't appear so, it's usually reserved for more popular name brand phones.

You could always try towelroot see if that roots it.

Generally yes but it all depends on the phone itself, for instance the Galaxy series will have a tonne of ROM's made by all sorts of developers due to it's popularity.

I've sold Android phones in the past before due to lack of development on it (e.g Motorola Milestone, locked bootloader). I've work with Android since it started and I personally have never heard of your phone.

Potentially, you could look into the board / chipset of the phone and try flash a ROM made for a different device (this is common amongst Android TV boxes) but it could get messy quite quick and won't guarantee the latest build of Android.

My recommendation - get a Moto G (I have one too, sold a Z1 for it, running CM11 4.4.4). It's €149 from Meteor and has a huge developer base, not to mention being up to data by default from Motorola / Google.

The majority of chinese phones won't get 4.4 kitkat.

Don't see many roms available for Doggee. Not a very popular brand at the moment.
might get bigger in a few years.

If its up to date firmware you want, chinese phones are not for you.

May i ask why you want 4.4?
