I've been accepted on the GMIT Film and Doc course. I already hold a level 6 Fetac qualification in film and I wonder if I would do better to study electronics to a level 6 level and have a skill that I could fall back on that would also maybe be helpful within the film industry, as lighting technician, gaffer, audio video technician.

On the other hand I would love to work at a production company and the GMIT course would provide me with contacts, and a higher recognized qualification.
