NCT Today, can't find logbook

    Panic stations!!

    the motor is up for failure today and i can't find the logbook, had it all set to go the other day and the two year old seems to have got her hands on it!! Will they still nct the car without the logbook or will they refuse?

    Chances are they wont even ask for it (I dont think I have ever been asked for mine). Worse case scenario they will test the car and might not issue the cert until you produce the logbook; they wont refuse to test the car.

    My bother didn't have his either in Westport a couple of weeks back. The car passed but they wouldn't print the new cert until he produced the logbook.

    I have done the last two NCT without logbook without any problems. It's not required.

    bring your license and the appt letter/e-mail...they will test it,but they might not give you the cert until u can produce it.
