Inglot?

I got a €70 voucher for Inglot recently for my birthday, and have made an appointment for a makeover (€30, redeemable against products).

I've never really used Inglot products before, apart from an eyeshadow palette I got as a gift. I have absolutely tonnes of eyeshadows, so don't need any more of those.

I'm happy enough with my foundation at the moment, but would be open to changing if I found there's good. In the makeover I'm going to be keeping an eye on the contouring and highlighting they do and would love some products so I could do that myself (at the moment I make a half arsed attempt with bronzer and powder highlighter :D).

So really just looking for some face products. Does anyone have any recommendations, or anyone any feedback on their products?

They have some really nice contouring and highlighting products so if that's what you're interested in, i'd go for them.

Lipsticks and lipliners are lovely from there as well.

Don't know about their highlighting and contouring stuff - but would love to hear how you got on if you can post back :)

I have lots of their lipsticks. They are very colour rich and last ages and don't dry your lips. They've tonnes of colours too so you could definitely pick up a couple of colours for different looks.

Yes, please post back on what you got! I've heard great things about them and I'm on the hunt for a new foundation, so it would be good to get feedback.

Oops forgot to update this a couple of weeks ago.

Was absolutely delighted with my makeover from Inglot! The girls in the South Anne Street store were lovely. I was going on a big night out that night so asked her for something quite dramatic and I loved it. I've seen some disasters where girls get their makeup done and then step out into natural light and the colours are all wrong, but my foundation was the perfect colour to match the tan I was wearing and she did some lovely contouring.

I bought the YSA foundation (really good staying power, great for my dry skin but not as much coverage as I would like as I have an uneven skin tone), HD contouring powder, an eyeshadow, a palette (I have a few other eyeshadows and the palette I bought fits 2 eyeshadows and the contouring powder), lipgloss and a contouring brush and it came to €83, which I was pleasantly surprised at. I had a voucher for €70, the makeover was €30 but that's redeemable on products so I only had to pay €13 myself.

When I was there I entered a free draw for a makeover and lesson...and I won :) So going back tomorrow for another makeover. Am going to get her to show me how to do the contouring properly because I still can't get the hang of it myself, and am going to go for a more subtle look this time using the eyeshadow I bought (it's an unusual burgundy/red colour and I haven't really figured out myself what to do with it yet!)

So really good experience with Inglot, there are a few more products that I want to buy when I get paid, so will definitely be a repeat customer :)
