Lowering and wheel alignment

    Hi all.
    I have a 2004 lexus is200 sport.
Being a sport model post 2001 it's 15mm lower than standard.
I have purchased an eibach pro-kit spring set which lower 30mm or so but in effect they will only lower mine 15mm but hopefully will improve my handling and reduce body roll.

My question before I fit them is will a standard 4 wheel laser alignment be sufficient to set the car up after installing the springs or will I need to find a shop who can adjust the cambering and if so can anyone recommend such a place in or around donegal/ulster?.
    Thanks.

Your camber will definitely be effected, and any 4 wheel alignment place can adjust it. The only problem is whether the standard arms in an is200 can be adjusted for camber.

It will affect your camber yes. However its only 15mm, and I would think that the variation from car to car of the same model would be probably half that amount anyway.

15mm lower shouldn't make too much difference, camber will be slightly out but there may be adjustment there, I don't know the layout of the Lexus.

I'd leave it a week or so after fitting the springs before doing alignment, will give the springs time to settle.
