does the content on netflix ireland get better when you start paying the actual subscription after the free month period? was hoping they'd have the new 24, latest version of suits, criminal minds, csi, etc

What you see is what everyone in Ireland sees.

Netflix has different shows for different countries, however. You can get addons such as Media Hint for FireFox which will allow you access the US content.
