Supply or Cover Teaching in Northern Ireland 2014

    Dear All,

I'm thinking about doing full time supply or cover teaching in Northern Ireland possibly in just one school from this September 2014. I am fully registered with the teaching council in Ireland. I also completed my PGCE in England and taught for almost two years in England, then returned home to the west of Ireland.

Has anybody gone up to NI from the ROI to do supply or cover in a secondary school? Just wondering what would the process be in terms of form filling, getting registered and if i'm infact too late to apply for positions for this September? Thanks in advance for any info received :-)

    Kind regards,
    MTAG
