I have a credit card with a 15k credit limit, I seldom use the card and if I do I clear it straight away,
Would having this amount of a credit limit be seen as a negitave thing by a bank when applying for a mortgage,?

No - they'll look for 3 - 6 months' credit card statements and if they see that you consistently clear the balance straight away, the credit card will be ignored.
