Do Part-time Internships/Media/PR jobs exist?

I'm a 22 year old male who has just completed his undergraduate studies. I am beginning a masters in September, but I have seven weeks to kill until then. I would love to get part-time work in a field which is relevant to my degree; communications, media, PR, etc. I am aware of the work ethic that is required for an M.A., but I am confident that I can excel in my studies while working part-time.

The question is though: Do Part-time internships exist? I have spent the past few days on numerous job websites, e.g. indeed.ie;jobs.ie, etc, but it seems that most employers are looking for people who are available on a full-time basis. I will be available full-time for the next 7/8 weeks, but after that I will begin my masters studies.

It would be hard to get them part-time, have you considered approaching a pub/restaurant to see if they want help with promotion?

Make a list of companies you are interested in working with, ring around and try your luck. If someone has a particular project or busy period they may take a chance however August is silly season too.
