    Hi all,

Just wondering is it legal for a company to terminate my position to send it to the philippines?

    Many thanks

Perfectly legal however you do have some rights under TUPE so you could in theory transfer to the Philippines. If you do not take a transfer then you will be made redundant. I guess you are in IT and the role will now be performed offshore? Unfortunately they will make it difficult for you to transfer as they do not want highly paid Irish infecting the local workforce who will earn around €3500 a year.

On the bright side, you would live like a king over there on your irish salary :pac:
