Do you ever feel like doing stuff that don't because you know your friends and family would laugh or think you've finally lost your mind?
I reackon it's very common for people to conform to expectations and to forever remain unfulfilled.

What is it you would never do in front of your peer group or family?

    Urinate.

    Damned paruresis.

Hope that helps get things back on track, dodd!

Agreed. The Expectation of Bondage would be a far better thread title.

I would never take a dump on someone.

I'd love to tell my "peer group" to go f*ck themselves. They're a pain in the hole.

I never had the best of social understandings so I do things regardless of what people think (so long as its legal)
Admittedly I have lost fair few friends. :p

    Oh god, yes, ab-so-lutely!

I would say almost everything I done up until about 20 was quite heavily dictated by either wanting to appease family members (or to assist family members' attempts at appeasing family members) or out of fear of how it would be held against me by some. Was about to drift into a rant but I'll hold off.

Would like to think I've gotten over it, but I really just cut off almost all of them. There's no point accommodating people just because they're family, my mam's wasted her life at that and she's the most miserable person I know.

I never gave a rattlin' scuttery fcuk about that kind of thing and don't intend to start.

I try to avoid "toxic" people. I don't really talk to most of my family because they didnt approve of me moving abroad to paint naked people and actually having the cheek to not come back three months later with my tail between my legs.

That was just over six years ago now...

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.
