Michelin Tyre

Hey I have one michelin tyre in the rear driver's side of the car (the rest are austone) it's almost 2 years old and I've just noticed it has long cracks in it around the edges of the tyre. Other tyres are spotless.

Now the thread depth is not worn so just wondering why this is happening and do I need to get this checked out before I hit the motorway? Thanks!
