Okay so I was caught speeding 3-4 weeks ago fair and square Im not gonna try dispute it. Ive never been done before so not too fussed on it and its a good warning to myself i need to pay attention to it a bit more.

Anyway the address on my license is not where I am currently living and I gave the Guard my new correct address. However it has been 3-4 weeks now since the incident and ive received no mail about it to either address.

Wondering what I should do about this? Do I need to go to the local station and inform them of this so I don't get fined more because of some bureaucratic bull**** mistake? Or does it simply take this long for this stuff to get processed?

Your best bet is to update your licence address and wait.

Not legal advice but I got both my letters within two weeks of the incident. Perhaps you are lucky. If was me I wouldn't do more than look at my post every so often.

The problem is im getting the points and a fine, if you dont pay the fine within a certain time it just ends up going up correct?

What im really asking is if I dont do anything will this be considered their mistake or mine as regards the fine?
