as the name suggests I'm lookin for some one to sort out front and back seats in my old car.
    its a 1978 reliant scimitar.
don't need a concourse level job. just cream leatherette to cover them. I've the seats out ready to godid the rest of interior myself.
I've been quoted over 1000 euro and its just not worth it.
anyway if anyone knows of someone please send on contact details.
I'm near Ashbourne in Meath so anywhere within an hours drive is perfect.
heard of a guy in navan but he's not answering number.
    cheers
    D

2 front seats and a rear bench in vinyl should be a lot less than a grand.

    Try some furniture upholsters.

yeah I've been quoted 750 so far in vinyl.
    time will tell.
for over a grand it would be real leather red fella.
    don't need that.

Ask Tara at http://www.easifit.net/ up in Newry.

They do tailored vinyl overcovers. Had a back seat done there a few years ago and pleased with the result. Still haven't got round to doing the front ones as I keep getting sidetracked.

CUC on the quays in Dublin also do tailored vinyl covers as well as 'proper' upholstery.

Very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Did a seat for a boat last year for me.

Let me know where a proper Autotrimmer & not a upholsterer will do real leather for a grand?
i needed 3 hides to get my front & back seats retrimmed & i know what that cost!

    saw examples in workshop yesterday.
