Anyone know when the new Leinster Rugby jersey for the new season will be announced? After doing a Google search, I noticed that last years kit was announced around this week. Just wondering if anybody has any insider information as I want to get a new jersey in the next two week as a present for someone.

Ah that's grand. Just didn't want to buy the current one only to have the new one come out the next day, and then make me look cheap! Cheers ssaye2.

Theres a good tradition of the European jerseys being nice and simple and elegant, hope they stick with that!

Ah f**k lads, this is total clickbait; I came into this thread expecting to see the new jersey.

At least stick a question mark at the end of the title.

What do you mean by European jersey? I never realised there was a distinction

The plainer blue one that Leinster wore in European games.

Tis a marketing gimmick to get more D4 heads to part with their money. :)

Those stars should be gotten rid of, it'd put us up on a nice high horse.

I think I heard it mentioned recently that they won't be getting rid of them. Nor should they IMO. Adds to the prestige of the tournament. I also read that the younger players are reminded about the wins by having the stars on the jerseys, and how they feel they need to do them justice every time they pull on the jersey and to what standard they should set themselves.

Personally I like them cause it reminds me that Leinster have won more Heineken Cups than Munster :P
