Advanced entry into Visual Art?

I am toying with the idea of returning to college, I completed 2 years of Fashion in Limerick over a decade ago, but due to family commitments WIT is my only choice.

I dont feel that I'd have a hope in Visual Communication but feel I could get on in Visual Art.

Any current / past students here that can comment on how 'fine art ' the course is or would I survive is I could excel at 3d etc?

My portfolio got me into Crawford at the time but Fashion was my first choice so I think if I put the work in now for 2015 I should be able to pull it together.

Anyone know what the time table was last year?

I am thinking of applying for advanced entry into 2nd year as opposed to 3rd year as 1st year in LSAD was ACD for 1st year, basically the same subjects.

As far as I can work out I won't be able to get BTEA or any help except from the grant as I work part time, but I would have to keep working part time while at college.
