Forum Improvement Idea

    Hi all,

We've been having a chat with the mods of this forum, & the subforums behind the scenes about ways to improve things around here. One of the prevalent ideas, was to merge the Role 'Playing P&P' (pen & paper), 'Miniature Gaming', & 'Tradable Card Games' subforums into the main Tabletop & Boardgaming forum. The idea being, we create one single forum to contain ALL genres of tabletop games, rather than have several fairly quiet forums all split up from each other. It would be a 'Tabletop & Board Gaming Arena', covering everything from the more traditional board games, to Warhammer, to D&D type games.

The forum would then hopefully be a more active one, with users more able to see & learn about new types of games, thus generating further chat, new players & all all round increase in people using the forum. Would there be any objections to this going ahead? If so, feel free to say so & why you think so :)

    Cheers all

Nope, sounds like a good idea!

I actually thought that this is what you guys were doing the first time. Just call it traditional/tabletop games and you're sorted.

We've gone ahead with these changes folks, thanks again. Everything from the other forums has merged in so please be patient while the mods sort out the influx of stickies etc, & get the forum a bit neater :)

    Looks good to me!

Might need a more catch-all or all-inclusive name though.
