Hi Marian,

I think you created a new thread, but with regard getting laser eye surgery, I got mine done 5 weeks ago with Optilase, i got Lazek (PRK) surgery which is the one that takes min 5 days to heal, the other option is Lazik which takes about 2-3 days. Both great surgery's and i was exceptionally impressed with Optilase. Staff very nice and i felt at ease the minute i went in.

I have a €100 voucher referral if think you might like to go with Optilase. Every little helps as they say.

Hi Marian,

Mine Cost just under the €3000 mark, i have astigmatism, Not sure if that made a huge impact on the price of mine, but i think most surgery's are in or around the 2k-3k value.

How old are you if you do not mind my asking? I am sixty years old and wonder if I am too late having this done.

Im 27, Optilase are located in several area's in the country,you can see their website and locations on www. optilase .com
For you either Galway or Enniskillen would be the closest.

Its a free consultation so you could go in and ask every query you may have about age etc
