Hi all,

I just cleared a load of bloatware from an Acer Aspire 5715Z. Internet on the ethernet is working fine but the wifi shows unidentified network (my ssid) Local only
I've COMPLETELY removed the driver for the atheros wifi card, restarted and installed fresh from the Acer site. Everything is set to auto. Hosts file looks good. I get the same when I connect to a neighbours wifi.
Any ideas?

Got it sorted. I went directly to the Atheros unofficial website where there was a more up to date driver than the one on the Acer site for the laptop.
