Night scented stock care.

    Have some night scented stocks, they look desperate by day but smell amazing by night. Just wondering if it is possible to cut them back so they are not desperate looking.Is it advisable to promote more blooms or should I just leave them be and keep enjoying them as they are now? Thanks
