Dishwasher DWF50 smoking!!

Hi My hotpoint dishwasher died over the weekend. There was smoke coming from under the front cover. I removed the cover and found the controller board was badly scorched at connector FST1. Does anyone know if this can be replaced or even what might have caused this to overheat/scorch? Thanks in advance

my best advice would be to ring Hotpoint and see what their attitude is to one of their appliances going on fire
