TV guy showed me what transmission mast (25) was transmitted to my saorview box. I was losing reception on one box from time to time , he reckons that as there is an amp on the aerial , and it's pulling signal in from where ever it can.

He apparently set the setting to back to 25. I think it was , on the problem box , and reckoned that the problem would be solved.

    It's worse than ever now.

I have been going through the menu on the saorview box , I cannot find the menu that he brought up and showed me ..any ideas where it is or what's it's under .... I am anxious to see has this setting moved from 25 if not he will have to try find the fault again ( for the fourth time)

    Appreciate advice

The Finlux box is identical to the Walker Wp 13 DTB soarview box. If you go to http://www.tvtrade.ie website and look at the video guides for the Walker box it will show you to manually tune in the frequency you require.

Ya your right. He showed me Channel numbers on the other saorview boxes , the other three boxes were tuned to the same number , but the one with the problems had a different number. I think myself the problem is in the attic where signal is split four ways , from aerial with amp.

It's this type of number I am looking for - I think
Paste - Clermont Carn will change from channel 53 to channel 52. Serving areas in Louth, Meath, North Dublin, Cavan, Monaghan, and Down, Armagh, Antrim.

He did show it to me on TV from menu ,,,, I have re set and fresh stalled etc etc I can see every number , except the -"25" - that he showed me the other day ...

Followed tvtrade ...no luck .....there must be a specific shortcut or something that brings up the actual Channel number that identifies transmitter box is getting signal from
