If anyone is having a look at the last in ascot tomorrow can you have a look at free zone and see if you think that I am mad to think that this has a chance and is overpriced at 40s.

Has won a class 2 off only 2 pounds lower and has some nice form going back a bit. Think this may be its first opportunity in a while of a decent mark.

Any soft in the description would also be a help I think but gd should be ok.

    Any and all views welcomed.

€1 trixie on Elleval, Pabusar and Desert Force. Returns 149.75.

Elleval speaks for itself, Marnane is hardly staying in England another day if he didn't feel this one had a chance. Pabusar looks ridiculously well handicapped and now it has a proper pilot on board and has showed some useful recent form it should be very competitive. Has a nice draw and should benefit from the good ground on the inside of the track. Hannon's 2 year olds running very well as of late and going by breeding alone, I think Desert Force should have the speed to outclass the Haggas runner.

Bet of the day would have to be High Jinx in the 3:10 at Maison though. While Ederan looks a decent improver, High Jinx has bags of experience and has went well in France before. Has the best jockey on board, is proven over the distance. Nothing here looks to have the class to compete with it.

    3.30 Pontefact - Elleval
    5.40 Pontefact - Pabusar..

    Classical Diva 25-1 ew 5.40
    I like this.
6lbs down after a good run last time out. Running in class 3 & 4 this time last year.
This race is weak and it's record over 5f on good to firm is decent. Pabusar's record in general is poor over 5f worse, hard to fancy though it's being backed again.
Also like top weight Mr Mo Jo I think it will go close here again.

    Croquembouche (15/2) in the 3-30.

Now running of a mark lower than its last winning one this beast should be competitive with Megan Carberry claiming a handy 7lb.

if youve backed it you can lay it off at 33s now. tbh i cant see anything to suggest is has much of a chance.

    Forest Edge 25-1 ew 5.20
Brings a little form here after two good recent runs. I think
    it can place here.

There is never an Irish meeting on the day before Galway starts - logistics really, a lot of gear has to be set up, particularly Tote stuff
