Hey I'm just 19 and I'm repeating my leaving cert this year. I was wondering is there an alternative method in doing so. If I aim and get general nursing. Is nursing a backdoor in to medicine. Thanks :)

If you plan on studying graduate medicine in Ireland a degree in Nursing is fine. Just so you know, there are certain universities in the UK that do not take on graduates from Nursing.
To apply for graduate entry you will need to sit the GAMSAT, so graduate entry wouldn't be considered a 'back door' per say - It's just as competitive.
