I get most of my news from AH believe it or not, if there's a big new story it is inevitably discussed in AH. You usually get a divide of opinion, a bit of banter and a few lols. Plus a few good links if you want to delve deeper into an issue. Learnt a helluver lot about the Israeli/Palestine conflict lately.

No. I always catch headlines in the morning but I never sit through an entire news broadcast. I get my Irish news from interwebz 'cos rte are far from impartial

I was reared with a father who shouted at everyone on the rte six one news he disagreed with. You'd swear they could hear him. Didn't put me off though, I get my daily news fix from various sources now.

You'd think by reading the comments and contributions of the stale, male and pale brigade that the world is about to descend into chaos. Most of them neckbeards who live in one of the wealthiest and safest countries in the world. Idiotic self-loathing and ballache masquerading as concern for society. It's tiresome.

I was thinking of not watching the news anymore. Its just to negative.

One minute its a crashed plane, the other a war in which thousands are dead. There is always some story running about some TV presenter being a kiddy fiddler as well.

The cap it all of they usually throw a 'feel good' story in there as well, something like ' A cat with 3 ears was born today ' or ' A man found his long lost brother of 60 years living next door to him '.

    I only watch the Angelus.

Enough excitement for any God fearing man!

News is about the only thing I do watch on the telly.

    The occasional movie as well.

Basically if there's a good show I want to see i'll catch it online.

I live with my brother and he's been down at a festival since Wednesday so the tv hasn't been on since!

I already did a few years ago when the only thing you'd hear on the news was that the country had gone down the toilet. I felt happier for it.
