Dental implant query, photo attahced.

    I had a dental implant done at the beginning of this year. There's a gap at the top of the tooth which at the time, the dentist said would disappear in time as the gum grows to fill it in - it hasn't done so.

    Should I go back to my dentist and get him to try again? Also, the implant is pressing against the rear tooth and food is always getting stuck there, it's also almost too tight for floss to get in there (it always frays).

    suggestions? is it okay like this, or is it just going to cause more problems down the line?
