Galaxy S4: Best Rom?

    Hi all,

My wife has an S4 and I am going to root it later on and install a custom rom from XDA. Her phone is laggy, awful battery life and she never uses any of the Samsung bloat that comes with the phone.

So, what is the best rom? Can be light touchwiz or near vanilla android, doesnt really matter. Just something stable, light, fast and bloat free. Decent battery life too.

I know I could trawl through XDA forums myself but I trust the Boardsies opinions more!

Also, is this the best root guide? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2255190

    Thanks In Advance!

Would CM11 or whatever be very stable now and relatively bug free?

She wouldn't be into customizing phone much at all, just wants it to work well. Basic user.

Very stable. They release 'M snapshots' once a month that they say are the most stable but I'm running my s4 on latest nighties, updating every few weeks for no reason other than curiosity and I never have problems.

You could put M8 (latest snapshot) and just run it away.
