Boosting phone network signal using antennae/dish

I am using my S5 on 3 billpay as my internet.

I can get a max on 1.1mps but this is very rare and the average is 500kps.

Does anyone know if I can setup an antenna/dish on the side of my house and run the cable to a router in my house, if the router will boost my network signal.
It should but i'm wondering if anyone has any advice.

Satellite and any other form of broadband is out of the question.
I cannot receive any other signal in my area and the Eircom line cannot hold another house
    so no Eircom.

    Cheers

Only they can boost the signal, they have the licence for the frequency, anything you buy yourself would be illegal to use. Also, signal is not related to speed, you could have 5 bars and no speed or 1 bar and great speeds.

Are there any fixed wireless providers in your area?
