I've been reading about 24 hour watches and really like the idea.
I was thinking of getting an Alpha in white with polished stainless steel for about €117 delivered.

While I'd love a Glycine Aviator or a Breitling Cosmonaut, for now I think this is a more realistic starter.

One other that caught my eye was a Vertis in red for $42 + $12 delivery +? customs if nabbed

The ebay seller charges €12 dollars to ship to Ireland, if nabbed by customs I guess it would be €6 handling plus about 15 tax so all in around €70 roughly.

Anyone any thoughts about these watches (or the seller www.uhren-sheriff.de for the Alpha), any other suggestions in that price bracket?

    Thanks.

A bit more expensive but looks good:

Thanks, I did look at one handed 12 and 24 hour watches but concluded while they really look nice, the fail on functionality, I would drive me crazy trying to work out was it 20 past or 25 past for example. The 24 hour format just clicked with me as making sense. I work shift and often I'm genuinely confused whether its AM or PM, especially in summer and 24 hour format really makes perfect sense.
