I purchased an ebay item from the US, value $99,87 inc postage, is there duty payable on import?.

It depends on what the item is; the duty rates are set centrally for EU countries and vary by item. VAT may very well also be payable.

Fairly sure VAT won't be payable if less than €260 in value - for traders anyway.

I would have thought duty would be chargeable on this - although I dont know off the top of my head
