I have an existing satellite dish in my house and I'd like to know if there is a device that can send the signal to a TV in one of the bedrooms.

    Thanks all.

The LNB on the dish must be cabled direct to a satellite receiver.

    What is an LNB?

It is what the cable connects to at the end of the dish.

DO you already have a satellite receiver on another TV In the house? (This isn't clear as reply above takes it the dish is currently disused) and if yes do you have Sky or FTA?.
you could use a video sender (wireless) or better still a cabled modulator connection (avoiding possible interference/reception issues with a video sender) from the existing receiver to the 2nd TV. You cannot watch different channels to the other TV with this arrangement.

or you could get another satellite receiver, run cable to dish, and probably have to change LNB for multi outlet one if its not already. You cannot (for normal use) 'split' an existing LNB cable for two receivers.

Ok yes have a satellite set top box already. I need something to allow my daughter to watch TV in her room as I watch something different.

A separate satellite receiver will be required in the bedroom cabled direct to a spare output the LNB at the dish. If you can't do it yourself you'll have to get a local aerial/satellite installer to run the cable.

Are you currently a Sky subscriber or do you just receive the free satellite channels?

Do you plan to install a Freesat or FTA sat receiver in the bedroom? Might be cheaper to buy online if you shop around.

What type of satellite do you use currently?

OK, a free-to-air (FTA) satellite receiver.

A Freesat spec receiver with its more user freindly channel layout might be an option for the bedroom.
