I went into an internet café once (do they still exist btw?) and the previous "customer" left their "Gmail" signed "in".

Needless to say, I had a poke around. It was fairly dull. Nothing of note at all.

So I created loads of confusing filters and wrote to them occasionally.

That's a nice story. Gives me a warm feeling in my heart-bone.

    Now add to the list:
"Give me your private details and I'll check for you"

Yea, let's setup new emails every time we have a connection problem.. Genius. That's like a getting a new girlfriend cause your current one is down at the post office.

Is it uncool yet to have a gmail account?or should I conform to the ritual of rejecting everything popular?

How would I look in a peak cap?

You would say that, Goggle are probably paying you to promote their services.

    Bing it instead, OP.

I love my Gmail account. It's my semi professional one unlike my Hotmail which I've had since I was 13 and which has a stupid name. Actually... My Gmail forwards to my Hotmail. What if I forwarded my Hotmail to my Gmail.

    They go POP

Amusing that there was this thread 6 years ago. Is everyone seeing a loop with 'choose your AI settings' in gmail this a.m.? You choose them. Get to the end, ,it restarts gmail, and you have to choose them again. and again. and again.

Happens if you choose to turn them all off. If you leave on the ones you have, gmail works for that browser session. Then, if you exit the browser, poof, back it comes next time you launch.

Great timing on rolling out this 'feature' on Election day in the US. Fecking brilliant timing.

Apparently if you use firefox there's some way to disable the popup but I think that'd have to be something you do each time.

FWIW desktop user, Windows 10, but I expect that doesn't matter as it's a gmail problem.

    Do no harm my hole.
