Hows it going lads, just looking to get back into the swing of it.

I'm starting off from scratch, not a thing in the house so I need the lot, budget can probably go out as far as €100 all in(I just wont tell the missus that) :D

Just some info on what I will be going after. For a start I have absolutely zero interest in river/lake fishing so I am only on the lookout for a beach rod and or pier rod or maybe one for all if you can help me out on any handy rods/reels to pick up. Main fish I'd be looking for, mackerell, pollock, cod and a few doggies. Then throw in the odd smoothound/tope if I'm lucky.
Also a handy place for tackle...

I'm not a complete novice, just been at least 15 years since I was out and want to get back into it. I know a few spots still for getting the lug/rag(well hoping they are still there anyway)

Was out with a friend last night in Howth off the pier and for anyone interested not a single Mackerell in sight, the only thing caught were 2 very small pollock and we left shortly before 12 after spending just about 5 hours there.

I'm in Dublin if that helps with giving shops or online shops.

Appreciate any help ye can shout my way!

You will pick up a decent second hand set up for that money and your €100 will last longer on better gear.

With all fishing gear I have found if you buy cheap you buy twice.
