Rough taxback calculation?

    Hello,

So I plan on leaving my job soon. There will be a few months left in the year and I am assuming I should get some tax back as a result.

Considering salary and rented accommodation and ignoring any other metrics like bins, healthcare etc. How can I get a rough estimate as to how much I should expect back.

I've had a look online and it sites seem to be making it difficult.

Given my last pay slip, should I be able to calculate everything? Is somebody willing to help me here please.

It would be very much appreciated.. :)

Do you pay any tax at the higher rate. If not

What's on your last payslip as tax credits.
You can count on thatback for each pay period remaining in the year assuming you havve paid at least that much tax.

Also assuming that you dont get another job.
