    Most Engineers do them.

Ask your solicitor what names are most frequently on the ones that are crossing their desk. That'll let you know who is doing them locally.

The old ones, done by hand, used to be signed but the new vector ones drawn by computer (which still have to be submitted on paper) aren't usually signed but do include printed details of the person who prepared them.

You might also require a Certificate of Area.

A PI insurance is needed just in case a person "stamping" the map will make an error while marking up the boundaries. You don't want to purchase a part of the neighbors site :)

Contact the local architect. Purchasing the map is 23eu from the UCD Archinfo, stamping and outlining shouldn't take more than 15 minutes of work and won't cost more than 150eu incl. VAT.

You need detailed floor plans with the position of the stairs (if any), and ItM coordinates shown if you are preparing a map for an apartment.
Most of the architects can work out the floor plans from the deeds or planning drawings.
