Battery not connecting with atomizer

Aggg, I'm so frustrated. The (evod) battery charges but when I connect it to the atomiser (aspire 1.8 head) it just blinks and shuts off. It was working when I got it (with a little charge) but once it was fully charged, it didn't work. The atomiser is working with another battery.

Thanks DB, I tried that last week. Got a new battery and charger in case that was it but still doesn't work. It charges for hours, then I plug it in and nothing
