I see here that you're allowed to bring a bicycle on the Dart during off peak hours 10am to 3.30pm and also after 7pm and all weekend

But does anyone know if the 3.30pm cut off point means you just have to embark a train before 3.30pm or does it mean your journey has to be completely finished by 3.30pm ? Hoping to try out Greystones & Bray later for a cycle but I'm tight for time

you'll be fine provided you're on the train by 1530 - TBH I see people on the Dart with bikes outside of those times quite often, it depends on whether the driver wants to make a fuss.

Yeah you should be fine either way. It's a bit of a silly cut off to be honest. With the shortening of dart carriages I've often had less room for my bike on a 2 carriage 7pm train than I would on a 6 carriage 7am one. Would be tempted to bring the bike into work the odd day I feel like a rest, but technically I can't bring it on the 6am dart from Greystones. Which is silly really.

Still, better than it was a few years ago when there was a general ban on bikes!

Thanks lads, will go for it, I shouldn't be on the DART any later than 4pm in any case
