    Hi,

I am looking for a 25mm tyre, worn out and preferably free. I just need to put it on and check how it fits before I order a set of new tyres.

    Thanks.

To be certain, you'll need the type of tyre your going to buy. All 25's don't measure the same.

I've a GP4000 in 25 that's currently at the side of the bin waiting to be thrown out if you're ever up in Dublin.

Don't bin it yet please ;). I will talk to TheDocMan first, as he is local enough to me and if he can't help I will contact you then.

Probably of no use but I just binned an open corsac 23 from the rear wheel and reckon the front hasn't much left either.

    Thanks,

I currently have 23mm tyres and I have been on them for a couple of years. Just wanted to check if there is enough clearance with a 25mm tyre ;).

If you've got more than 3mm clearance to each side with a 23c tyre, than a 25c should fit.

Thanks. There is enough clearance on the frame for 28mm tyres for sure, but as the bike has mudguards on full time, I am a little worried. I use 23mm wide aluminium rims though.
