Can't see WW3 happening, the Russians are not a superpower any more and they know it. Can't see the Russians and Israeli joining forces either, nor can I see them joining forces with the Arabs. Russia know that they cannot fight against the US and Europe. They also know that China is a unpredictable entity that is sitting next door too.

The Ukraine will settle down with some negotiations. The west will put the squeeze on Russia with more sanctions and they will have to sit down - they will probably get a bit of Ukraine and that will be that.

Israel/ Palestine will go on and on and on and on as neither side are willing to negotiate. Until there is some land given back to the Palestinians and a diplomatic government in place in both countries, it will keep going on. I think that there is too much bad blood there for it to settle in our lifetime, you just need to look at the north to see how much gets filtered through to the next generation.

The only way I see WW3 is either the Russians join forces with the Chinese or the Arab states all join forces, neither of which I can see happening as there are far too many conflicting ideologies and a history of conflict... your enemies enemy is not always your ally.

It's just more of the same. Just because there's no real sense of war in Europe, doesn't mean that there's no conflict somewhere else in the world. It just doesn't make news here.

MAD, as gruesome an idea as it is, will stop the Russia/Ukraine/Peoples Republic of [insert city here] clusterfukc from developing into a hot war.

Israel/Palestine will probably continue as it was considering how Israel is the top dog in that area.

Mutually assured destruction probably makes a WW3 unlikely.

On Ukraine, I'd say a split into West Ukraine and East Ukraine is within the realms of possibility.

On Gaza, nothing is going to change here for the foreseeable future. Nothing will change until there's a two state solution in place. This isnt going to happen unless the US/UNSC makes it happen. That doesn't seem likely right now.

Why do people think every little conflict will turn into WW3?

I remember as far back as the NATO intervention in the Balkans being described as the beginning of WW3, and every conflict since such as Iraq, Syria and Georgia

North Korea will relocate to Jupiter. Or at least that's what they'll tell their people.

That or Russia will annex parts of the Ukraine, on further thought I think you are right as the UN/US won't reward such aggression by giving Russia land. The East Ukraine will be loyal to Mother Russia and the West will prosper under the EU and in decades to come, the East will also want a slice of the pie and join too.

Wrong, they have already relocated to the sun and the great leaders forcefield shields them for the immense heat but also ensures that they are in complete control of the solar system. All Kim needs to do is flick a switch and the sun will stop.

Was that before or after they won the World Cup?

After, he promised them a sun holiday if they won.... well they got it :-)
