Jobs in the Waste Industry

    Hi all,

I am currently working in the waste industry in Australia. I have 3.5 years experience in this industry in a technical role. During this time I have learned a great deal about the industry and I have had exposure to the operational, logistical and financial sides of the industry.

I plan to return to Ireland next spring in the hope that this experience will allow me to get my foot in the door of a waste management company. I feel that the longer I stay in oz, the harder it will be to break into the industry back home (same general principles but different legislation etc. that I will need to learn).

My Question is: Do you know anyone working in a technical role in this industry and are there jobs out there?

    Thanks
