    Can someone post up the dates for me. Does it start on the 1st or 8th of September?

    Freshers week is the 1st... second, third years etc start on the 8th.

    Just a week where first years are in college by themselves to get used to the place. There'll be different talks and events on, stuff like that.

    Last year we didn't have a full week of activities- we had the Fáilte Fest the Saturday and Sunday before we started lectures. It was good craic to be fair, groups of us were assigned academic mentors an we had a short meeting with them, and they told us kinda what to expect from the year. Freshers ball was in the college bar on the Sunday night.
