E-bay Refund

I sold a few tickets on e-bay for a now cancelled event and want to refund the buyer, apparently they are entitled to face value but I am hoping to pay them the full amount minus charged I have faced, credit card, advertising and postal.

Is this possible or must I cancel the sale and refund the total amount?

    Appreciate any advice!

You can do a partial refund through paypal. Go to the paypal transaction, choose refund and you can type in the amount of the refund on the next page.
