He's Korean, not Japanese.. they tend to use their surname in front of their given name.

Asian societies order the forenames and surnames in the reverse order to how we would so in the case of Mr Ban, Ki Moon is actually his forename.

The last three Secretary Generals of the UN have had funny names... Ban Ki Moon, Kofi Annan and (my personal favourite) Boutros Boutros Ghali.

I once witnessed a very drunk person run up and down a road Ardee shouting 'BOUTROS BOUTROS GHALI' over and over again at the top of his voice and in a thick Ardee accent.. one of the funnest things I've ever seen

    I am easily amused

Should I be worried that I don't know who this man is?

    He's behind me isn't he.

Edit: I mean Ban Ki Moon, not Boutros.

It's clearly one of the requirements of the job now.

I nominate Sonny Knowles to succeed Mr. Ban.
