    Hi All

Im having issues with my washing machines leaving orange - light brown stains on my clothes. the stain are mainly on my white and grey clothes but today I noticed there was a big stain on my jeans.

Anyone have the same issue or know what could be causing the stains?

I have the same problem, i would like to know if there are any solutions to prevent this and also what works best to get the stains out, mine are permanent.

It could be the seal after failing and bearings are rusting which is causing the staining.

If there is bearing failure you will know because the machine will be getting considerably louder during spin cycle, it may be rust coming from a coin or similar stuck under the heating element but I find the most common cause of stains appearing on light coloured garments is caused by bad installation, the waste hose must loosely enter a standpipe that is approx. 3 inches lower than the height of the lid of the machine and only pushed down a further 4 inch max otherwise the w/m will syphon leaving suds which cause stains when the clothes dry out. Also check the pump filter regularly. On the off chance that you have your own water supply there may be iron in the water but if you inspect the fill solenoid filter and its not redish its ok.
