Samsung SII Sim Card Error

    Hi,

    I recently got my phone fixed with a new screen and motherboard as it was totally smashed.

    However in the last number of days the network was not being connected to and now it wont recognise the SIM card.

    Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this as I dont want to send it off for repair again.

    Last night I tried to root the phone without success(followed all of the instructions from galaxys 2 root) and also downloaded the App GSII Repair which also did not work.

    Phone details:
    Model: GT-I9100
    Android Version: 4.0.4
    Kernal Version: 3.0.15-1056084 DPI dell131 #3
    Build Number:IMM76D.BULPG

    No baseband version.

    Any help would be much appreciated.
