why war continue.

why its like in 2000 year now cant we all just get along and live in peace and happy love feeling

People claim to have morals and ethics... but when push comes to shove or to ones own gain.... all bets are off.

I think a better question is why all the peace?

Humanity's story is largely one of inequality, incest, nepotism, rape and violence. Yet somehow today's society is the less violent of all known era's. Why did we step back on the violence? There's nothing that states that humanity should progress to be more peaceful and trusting towards one another. Yet, that is what has occurred in this recent era. That we have been born into such a time period and location is nothing short of miraculous. I treasure that thought. Can't help but humble me and it does leave the question of whether this relativity peaceful way is one that will stay or collapse. Society is so interlinked today, that it is utterly fragile. That frailty is something beautiful. It's possibly what keeps us so peaceful. In the grand scheme of things nobody wants our society to regress and conflict is one sure fire way to start that regression. Rarely have we been as empathetic and cooperative with one another as we have been today.
