    Are you looking to buy one from other Boardses (in which case you should start a thread in the Cycling Adverts sub-forum), or are you looking for recommendations for ladies bikes (in which case a thread here is fine)?

    probably better to ask for a bike by size required, rather than gender. Unless your wife is < 5'3", small unisex/gents bike should be fine

    what type of bike - if it's just something to get from a-b then my mother is selling a hybrid type thing quite cheaply.
