    Hi,

I'm currently in a loss making contract. The duration of the contract is, 'for a maximum of three years on a year by year basis', can I terminate it after year two and what notice do I need to give? Any help would be appreciated

No termination clause in the contract?

No term included to terminate, only if a breach occurs

OP nobody can advise you on a contract without having had sight of that contract. Especially not someone on the internet.

Is the question in relation to the duration of contract not set out clear enough in the initial comment

How can a person advise on one sentence of a contract, without sight of the whole document, any communication before hand and the information of the person who signed the contract. Also the industry norms may effect anyone's view of the issue of termination.

If I print a sentence from a book could you tell me what the book is about. If you want real advice based on real information ask a solicitor.

So while your question is clear any answer can not be. If anyone gives you such advice without sight of at least the whole document then I would be very wary of such advice.
