Is there a rolls royce out there, e.g Backer or are they all just hit n miss.
Backersafe Immersion Heaters are manufactured in a range of Sheath Material, Titanium, Incoloy and Copper. http://www.backerelectric.com/products/backersafe_immersion_heater.asp

Which material, Titanium, Incoloy or Copper, is more likely to give you more reliable stat operation long term.

    I use copper or incoloy.

Copper in a normal house incoloy in iffy areas

Unless you need incoloy i wouldn't bother

Can Titanium or Incoloy be used in a copper cylinder with no problems?
